Marketing, Mysticism & Minivans—Oh My!

About Me

Don’t Let the Minivan Fool You started as something simple—a blog, a place to write when I was deep in the chaos of early motherhood, trying to hold onto myself between nap schedules and snack breaks. I needed a space that was mine, a place to put words down so I wouldn’t forget who I was outside of raising babies, homeschooling, and managing the never-ending to-do lists that come with running a household.

Over time, that space evolved—just like I did. What started as a personal outlet turned into something bigger: a blend of storytelling, strategy, and spirituality, where I could bring all the pieces of myself together.

Marketing wasn’t something I set out to do—it was something I grew into. My husband and I built both our family and our business together, and as the kids got older, I found myself taking on a bigger role in Black Door Creative. What started as simply helping out turned into something more. I realized I wasn’t just supporting the business—I was shaping it. I learned the ins and outs of branding, social media, and web strategy by doing it firsthand, running our company the same way I run our home: with clarity, connection, and a focus on long-term growth. Now, I run things full-time, helping to scale and evolve what we’ve built from the ground up.

Beyond business, I live with one foot in the mystical. I read tarot, break down astrology transits, and explore energetics because, for me, there’s no separation between strategy and intuition. Whether it’s branding, business, or life itself, it all comes down to seeing things clearly and moving forward with purpose.

I’m a homeschooling mom of three, caretaker to seven fur babies, and an avid reader who can never resist a good book. Whether you’re here for insight, strategy, or just to see where my mind wanders next, welcome. You’re in the right place.
